Had enough of spending your summer with your tax return at the back of your mind?
Had enough of struggling to fit doing your tax return into day to day life?
Had enough of feeling overwhelmed and alone doing your tax return, feeling disconnected from your business?
Your self assessment tax return is one of the most important things you do for your business.
Do you give it the attention you deserve?
Join me on 14 July in London for a Tax Return Retreat
Does any of this feel familiar?
Doing my tax return feels spirit sapping and soul destroying
I’m really nervous I’m not doing it right
It’s important to me to know what I need to know and I feel unsure what that is
I have no idea where to start
I’ve been doing my tax return a few years and I’m not sure I’m claiming all I could
It feels lonely doing my tax return on my own if I’m really honest
All The Overwhelm
Expenses, where do I start?
I want to do my own tax return and don’t know what to do
I am the Queen of Put It Off and the procrastination is killing my business
Have you secretly had enough and want it to be DIFFERENT this year?
You’re not alone.
You’d be surprised how many business owners just like you don’t have their ducks in a row when it comes to their tax return.
Even more business owners aren’t interested (which is why HMRC can seem a bit scary. They’re used to people who try to get away with as much as they can. I know that’s not you).
Your self assessment tax return is one of the foundations of your sole trader business – and it’s pretty damned important if you’re a limited company director too.
Why not give your tax return the attention it deserves?

There is so much to see and do in the local area, including some of London’s main tourist sights. You’ll receive a map with directions to my favourites with walking distances.
Nature: Queen’s Wood, Highgate Wood, Hampstead Heath, Waterlow Park
Be a tourist: Highgate Village (right), Highgate Cemetery, Kenwood House
What if I need to arrive later/leave earlier?
The retreat starts at 10am and ends at 4pm. I’ve designed the retreat so you can keep your commitments at the beginning and end of the day (e.g. school pick up, work meetings) if you need to. The time in between is yours to do your tax return in real time. The only restriction is the cabin will be unavailable 1-2pm (there is an organic cafe next door if you arrive back a bit early).
What are my transport/parking options?
Public transport: Highgate Underground Station is 5 minutes walk away. Highgate is on the Northern Line, direct from Euston, Kings Cross, Charing Cross, Waterloo and London Bridge. There are also lots of local buses.
